Relief From Cold Sores

Cold sores, which are also called fever blisters, are caused by the type 1 herpes virus. It is contracted by person-to-person contact, such as sharing utensils or kissing. This virus stays dormant in your nerve cells until you have a breakout in which blisters or irritation occurs around the mouth area. Do not confuse cold sores with canker sores.
